Christian Science Monitor
Had the pleasure of doing a freelance portrait for the Christian Science Monitor this week. Visited and photographed Annie Lacefield of An Open Book, in Greeley, Colorado. The Monitor is doing a story on small, independent booksellers in the country. Annie nearly had to close the store when the economy really slowed down and the town all pitched in money to help her stay open. She is a lovely, passionate book seller who loves what she does as well as loves her community. If you are ever in Greeley, pay her and her store a visit. A real treat!
