JoAnna and Mike got married today in the Fiske Planetarium in Boulder, Colorado on the CU Campus. A most unusual venue to get hitched but fun to be at! They the dined at Cafe Gondolier also in Boulder where I got to photograph my first bride throwing a pizza dough!

Shanelle and Stephen 15 Year Anniversary

Nice to see couple's celebrating their anniversary with a bang! Shanelle and Stephen showed up in a stretch limo all dressed up and stopped in for a portrait session on their way to Flagstaff House for dinner. Fun!

The Veggie Garden in 1 Month

Seems we have had the perfect conditions for rapid growth in the vegetable garden. I was worried we had planted to late, but in less than one month, we are enjoying fresh greens every night from our yard. These photos were take on May 25 and June 25 and we are seeing impressive growth. Love it!

Another great block party in Boulder, Colorado in the lower Chautaqua neighborhood. All age ranges live here and it's great to gather in the street and share a meal. Mr. and Mrs. McCormack, the seniors in our hood, have been married for 65 years! I love this:)

Maternity Photography

Alex and Jessica are expecting a baby in July. I photographed their wedding 6 years ago and I had the honor of photographing them again today 8 months pregnant!
What a treat for me to see couples grow in their marriage and come back to see me to celebrate another milestone through photography. Making a successful portrait requires harmony with the subject. We were fortunate to establish trust that our purpose in this venture is a shared one. Create images, create trust, create beauty and celebrate happiness from your own making.
