Talked with Charles Roitz http://charlesroitz.com/ at Elsa's birthday party yesterday. He was the head of the photo department at University of Colorado, Boulder back in the 80s. Fun guy!

Swing Series

It's that time of year again. Once a year for about a week, the plants bloom white and I get as many people as will sit for me on the swing-It's our 4th year running. Call me if you want to be photographed. It's only happening for the next 5-7 days tops. And it's medium format black and white film!

Robin's Eggs

Well, we had a robin here, nesting on the downspout,( see a few posts back) but the eggs did not make it through the snow a few weeks back and she has never returned. I found out she will never return to the nest so I took the unique opportunity to make some photographs of it. The eggs are so beautiful!

Last night

I thought last night was the perfect Spring evening.
And the zucchini are trying to poke through, and Maya wanted
to start the seasonal photo series but could not keep a straight face.
Love this!

Sweet Memory

I think it's good to have a photo of yourself around when you were a kid. It's nice to remember ourselves as young and innocent and pure of heart. This image is soon to show up elsewhere...stay tuned.

Had a great day photographing Kelsey and Cody's wedding at Grant Humphrey's Mansion in Denver yesterday. The bulk of the day was shot on film but here are some digital images from the session for an immediate posting. I love that location! There is something fun about having to wait and see the film ....real film, black and white and color!
